Richard H. Keagy, DVM (Retired)
Dr. Richard Keagy attended UCLA, fufilling his pre-veterinary requriements, and then went on to graduate from the University of California at Davis with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1959. He joined his parent's thriving practice that summer and, except for two years of active duty as a veterinarian in the United States Army (1960-1962), he practiced veterinary medicine in Beverly Hills until his retirement in 2004. While working full time at the hospital Dr. Keagy also continued his military career as a reserve officer, ultimately earning the rank of Colonel and serving as Assistant Chief Veterinarian for the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps, until his retirement from reserve military duty in 1995. Dr. Keagy's daughter, Laura Keagy Greenberg, joined the practice in 1977 and is currently serving as the hospital's Practice Manager, continuing the legacy of this long standing family owned and operated animal hospital. Dr. Keagy lives with his wife, Jocelyn, in West Los Angeles, and enjoys playing golf, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. |

John Brandon Winters, DVM
Dr. John Brandon Winters attended Montana State University, earning a Master's degree in Parasitology in 1969. Following a tour of duty in Vietnam, he returned to the United States and attended veterinary school at Washington State University. Graduating in 1976, with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, he relocated to Southern California and joined the Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital later the same year. Among other achievements, Dr. Winters has served as head of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA) Grievance Committee for over 18 years, is well known for his work as the official veterinarian of the Beverly Hills Dog Show, donates his time to the SCVMA sponsored low-cost vaccination clinic held yearly in the city of Beverly Hills, as well as providing veterinary services to several local doggie daycare facilities, groomers, and trainers.
Recipient of the H. Don Mahan Memorial Award in January 2005, presented for his 29 years of dedicated service to the veterinary profession, is the crowning glory of his many accolades and awards.
In his leisure time Dr. Winters enjoys driving his 1962 Corvette, collecting sports memorabilia, attending sporting events with his two sons, playing with his Labrador, "Duke", and pursues a very active social life with his wife Joyce. |

Ford K. Suehiro, DVM
Dr. Ford Suehiro joined the Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital in 1974 working as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant until 1980. He attended Washington State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in microbiology and public health in 1983, and a Master's degree in veterinary immunology in 1985. After graduating from Washington State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, he returned to the Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital the same year. Currently serving as chief surgeon his primary areas of interest include; soft tissue surgery, dentistry, critical care, and internal medicine.

Marianna J. Favinsky, DVM
Dr. Favinsky attended Fairfax High School before beginning her pre-veterinary studies at UCLA. She earned her undergraduate degree at UCLA in 1996, then attended veterinary school at the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2000. After returning to southern California, she spent 6 successful years practicing veterinary medicine in Studio City.
In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Favinsky also treats pocket pets and birds. Her areas of interest include: internal medicine, surgery, and exotics.
Dr. Favinsky loves to ride and care for her 2 horses. She also shares her home with several other asssorted pets (and one very patient husband). |
